A work does not end in the studio. It keeps unfolding in the room and story of the person who receives it.
I do not believe the artist alone creates a painting’s meaning. Once a work leaves the studio, it begins another life.
Each meeting can be a way of completing the work.
It lives with the light, rhythm, and memories of a home, becoming something that cannot be repeated.
